MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Staff Development Department is to provide learning opportunities to LISD staff which will:

Improve the quality of teaching.

Enhance the ability of individuals to manage district-wide programs and student support programs.

Support staff to serve in leadership roles as agents of change and promoters of reform.

Facilitate the continuing education of teachers, administrators, and support staff to improve their effectiveness and efficiency.
