Laredo ISD welcomed its newest educators during the New Teachers Academy on Tuesday morning at the Vidal M. Trevino School of Communications and Fine Arts. The morning began with greetings from Superintendent Dr. Sylvia Ríos. The new teachers are spending the week learning about LISD’s policies, procedures, instructional technology, and much more.

STEAM students are learning about renewable and nonrenewable resources. Our future environmentalist engaged in an activity where they reenacted an oil spill in the ocean and had to come up with a plan to clean up the spill to protect the animals. 🌍 ♻️Wildcat Proud 🐾
