Webb County held the 28th Annual Domestic Violence Coalition Proclamation alongside county and city officials. Yvana Guzman, an 11th grade student at Garcia Early College High School, recited a poem in honor of domestic violence survivors titled "I'm A Woman and I Deserve More."

The DPS Crime Lab held an open house for the public. Students from Garcia Early College High School had a unique chance to explore forensic evidence and engage with a scientist. This rare annual event in Laredo was both educational and memorable, offering insights not often available to the community.
Join a Club! This was the message for freshmen today. The Student Organization Leadership Assembly (SOLA) organized a recruitment event specifically for GECHS freshmen, encouraging them to explore various club opportunities.
