LISD continues to work hand in hand with our Laredo Police Department and City law enforcement agencies to protect all of our students, staff and schools. We encourage the reporting of any potential danger and will act swiftly to prosecute any offenders to the full extent of the law. Working together we can deter any threats to the safety of our LISD teaching and learning community. “See something, hear something, say something.”

Falcons, The time is here! Graduation is upon us and we are ready to help you met ALL your graduation requirements. We are 9 instructional days from STAAR Testing and we are confident that you will succeed. Please ensure you are attending your STAAR Interventions. Your teachers are eagerly waiting to help you. Let’s knock out the Algebra, Biology and US History exams!! Our INTERNAL deadline for all 2022 Graduation Candidates to finish all graduation requirements and credits is April 29, 2022….that is just around the corner. This will give us enough time to work with your home campus counselors and administrators to ensure you are cleared to walk the line with your classmates. Also, ALL STUDENTS start making plans to attend our 2nd Annual Valdez High School Victory Night on May 23, 2022, at 8:00 PM at the Memorial Field. Invite all your family and friends to celebrate all your victories and accomplishments during the 2021-22 school year. Reminder: Weekly raffles for school attendance, intervention attendance, credits earned, and appropriate behavior will continue until the end of the school year. There are many prizes left to win. DO NOT be left out!! Even if you don’t win, these factors will be taken into consideration for the end-of-the-year trip!
