lib week

Dear Daiches Elementary School Community,

Get ready to celebrate National Library Week with us from April 2nd to April 5th! We have some exciting events planned, and we invite all students, and staff to join in the fun by dressing up for each day's event.

Here's a sneak peek at what's in store:

  1. Tuesday, April 2nd - Pajama Day: Get cozy and comfortable as we celebrate the joy of reading in our pajamas! Wear your favorite pajamas or loungewear to school and snuggle up with a good book.

  2. Wednesday, April 3rd - Sea Animal Day: Dress up as your favorite sea animal character and bring the ocean magic of literature to life!

  3. Thursday, April 4th - Community Helper Day: Dress up as your favorite community helper, whether it is a firefighter, doctor, police officer, teacher, or any other profession that inspires them. Then, they will have the opportunity to read a book related to their chosen community helper during a special reading.

  4. Friday, April 5th - Crazy Hat Day: Students and Teachers are invited to wear their wackiest, most imaginative hats to school and join us for a special reading session. Whether it's a towering top hat, a silly sombrero, or a fantastically fuzzy fedora, let your creativity shine!

We can't wait to see everyone's creative costumes and celebrate the magic of reading together. Remember, participation is optional but highly encouraged!

Stay tuned for more details and reminders as National Library Week approaches. Let's make this week a memorable celebration of literacy and imagination!

Happy Reading📚
