The Health Sciences Division at Laredo College is committed to fostering excellence in healthcare education and practice. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote awareness and collaboration, we will host the Spring 2024 Expo Health Fair on April 9, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the College of Health Sciences in the South Campus.
The Spring Expo will include community guests:
Doctors Hospital of Laredo, Laredo Medical Center, Gateway Community Health Center, Mercy Ministries of Laredo, SCAN: Serving Children and Adults in Need, Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, The City of Laredo WIC Program, Walmart Optical and Pharmacy, and Therapatitos.
LC Representatives from:
Homeland Security, Continuing Education-Dental Assistant, Adult Education, Counseling and Disability Services, and The Bachelor of Organizational Leadership will be in attendance.
Along with Laredo College student teachings, this event will provide screenings for hearing and vision, pediatric occupational/physical therapy, ultrasound carotid survey, flu vaccines, vital sign screening, and education on local services in our community, including stroke, weight loss, chest pain, opioid awareness, domestic violence, mental health education, organ donation, and much more.
