Goals
To provide a meaningful and relevant curriculum for teachers to teach and students to build strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in preparation for college/ career readiness upon graduation
To foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking by exposing students to all genres of literature
To prepare students for contributing to our community in productive and positive ways
To prepare teachers with skills to develop rigor and creativity within their craft
To develop timely responses to classroom needs, technology, and social shifts
To impart robust instruction that creates experiential learning and life-long exploration

To embed regional, state, and national standards in our curriculum guides
