M.B. Lamar Middle School hosted its highly anticipated BORDER Fiesta on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the LISD Performing Arts Center, offering a day of fun, food, and community spirit. The event, which ran from 1 PM to 6 PM, welcomed students, parents, and staff for an afternoon filled with games, activities, and spectacular student performances.
One of the highlights of the event was the food booths, with attendees especially enjoying the delicious tostadas at Booth #5, where three tostadas were sold for just $5. 😋
The school also enforced a clear bag policy and security checks, ensuring a safe environment for all guests. Admission fees were reasonable, with general admission set at $5, LISD students with ID paying only $2, and free entry for children under 3 and student performers.
The event was a huge success, bringing the Lamar community together for an unforgettable day. Everyone left with smiles, great memories, and excitement for future celebrations. Go Lions! 🎉
