MakerSpace

Lamar Middle School – Students at Lamar Middle School recently enjoyed an exciting and hands-on Makerspace experience, thanks to a collaborative effort between Mrs. Visarra and Ms. Loranca. The dynamic duo teamed up to provide an innovative space where students explored creativity, problem-solving, and technology in engaging ways.

The Makerspace gave students a unique opportunity to draw, create digital pixel art, design with 3D pens, code robots, and more. This interactive environment allowed students to stretch their imaginations, sharpen their skills, and dive into STEAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

Mrs. Visarra and Ms. Loranca designed the activities to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and fun. Whether students were tracing art with 3D pens, coding robots to navigate paths, or crafting colorful pixel art, the energy in the Makerspace was electric.

The Makerspace experience not only enriched students’ understanding of technology and design but also showed them how learning can be interactive, fun, and innovative.

A big thank you to Mrs. Visarra and Ms. Loranca for bringing this creative space to life. Their efforts continue to inspire students to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and build skills that will prepare them for the future.
