Principal's Message
Dear Santo Niño Elementary Community,
Dear Santo Nino Elementary Community, Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and partnership in making our school a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. Your commitment plays a vital role in the success of our campus, and we are truly grateful for all that you do. As we move into the spring semester, we wish all of our students a wonderful, successful, and memorable season filled with learning, growth, and meaningful experiences. There are many exciting events ahead, including our community’s Washington Birthday Celebration, engaging campus activities, and opportunities that will continue to inspire our students. TELPAS testing will begin on February 16 for all Kindergarten through 5th grade students, and STAAR testing will follow in April. We appreciate your support in ensuring students are well-rested, present, and prepared each day. Students who have been invited to tutorials will resume sessions on March 3 and will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We strongly encourage students to attend, as tutorials provide valuable support that plays an important role in their improvement and overall academic success. We also invite families to join us for Family Reading Night on March 6, a special opportunity to promote literacy, spend quality time together, and celebrate the joy of reading. Spring Break will take place March 9–13, and we look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, March 16, refreshed and ready for the remainder of the semester. Finally, please mark your calendars for our GT Showcase on March 19 and 20. Invitations will be sent soon, and we look forward to celebrating our students’ talents and accomplishments with you. Thank you once again for your continued support and partnership. Sincerely, Mrs. Dolores G. Flores
