LISD continues to work hand in hand with our Laredo Police Department and City law enforcement agencies to protect all of our students, staff and schools. We encourage the reporting of any potential danger and will act swiftly to prosecute any offenders to the full extent of the law. Working together we can deter any threats to the safety of our LISD teaching and learning community. “See something, hear something, say something.”

Our S. Perez ECHS/CHS students participated in the Superintendent's Student Advisory board activity and meeting. The student representatives read a story to young children at Zachry Elementary and Daiches Elementary.
We had a productive meeting with our S. Perez ECHS 11th grade student cohort. Students familiarized themselves with attendance expectations, TSIA tutorials, LC requirements, and counseling presentations.
We held a 10th Grade S. Perez ECHS cohort meeting last week to ensure our students are ready academically, socially, and emotionally. Dr. Lopez, Ms. Sierra, and Ms. Garza presented on a series of topics.
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to Daisy Serna our Cigarroa HS and S. Perez Early College HS Border Patrol Youth of the Month. We are so proud of you!
