Great Superintendents Student Advisory Committee meeting hosted by CHS at the PAC. CHS/SPECHS student representatives, SPECHS robotics, and CHS culinary students did an amazing job showcasing all we have to offer at CHS.

The Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) summer STEM program is now accepting applications for student participants. UTSA and San Antonio are GEMS sites. GEMS participation is 100% free and features hands-on, lab-based curricula – no textbooks required.

The Laredo Independent School District will be releasing students at Cigarroa High School and Cigarroa Middle School today at 1:30 p.m., due to a water line break. Laredo ISD expects the water line to be repaired later today. Parents are asked to please pick up their children at 1:30 p.m. LISD Transportation Department has already sent buses for those students who rely on bus transportation. The LISD Child Nutrition Program is providing lunch in the schools’ cafeterias. Classes at Cigarroa High School and Cigarroa Middle School will resume on Thursday, February 6, at their regularly scheduled time.
