Congratulations to LISD Student of the Month for April Alezzandra Lozano. Lozano is a sixth-grade honors and GT student at Cigarroa Middle School.
Alezzandra is a member of the school’s Robotics Team and Ready Writing UIL. She enjoys coming to school because she is able to practice Robotics so she can continue to prepare for next year competitions. Her favorite part of the day is her robotics class because she is interest in building the robots and coding them.
Alezzandra’s goal is attend Harvard University to obtain a degree in Biology or the medical field. Once she completes her studies, she plans to move to New York City to go into the medical field or become a Biomedical Engineer.
Alezzandra enjoys playing volleyball in her free time. She also enjoys journal writing for her thoughts.
She attended Ligarde Elementary School and plans to go to Cigarroa High School. Alezzandra is the daughter of Irving and Nancy Lozano.

Acompáñenos mañana, 9 de abril, a nuestra última junta de SHAC del año. Esta se llevará a cabo de 10:30 a 12:00 en el centro cívico (PAC). Tendremos un representante del Club de Niños y Niñas quien nos hablará sobre los programas de verano que tenemos disponibles para los estudiantes. Además, el departamento de salud de la ciudad de Laredo nos hablará sobre la vacuna contra el virus del papiloma humano.

Online registration is NOW OPEN! All students in pre-kinder through 12th grade who would like to attend any school in Laredo Independent School District for the 2024-2025 school year can begin the registration process by visiting the district’s website at www.laredoisd.org.
The registration process is available in both English and Spanish. For any assistance, please call (956) 273-1278 where trained staff will be available by phone to assist any parent who needs extra support with the registration process.
