Principal's Message
Dear Martin High School Families, As we enter the final weeks of the school year, our focus is clear—finish strong. The hard work our students and staff have shown all semester has set the foundation for success, and now is the time to build on that momentum with a winning attitude. At Martin High School, we believe “Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger”—and that pride is reflected in the determination we bring to the finish line. Because at the heart of everything we do, somos familia. Daily attendance continues to be one of the most important factors in student success. Instruction begins promptly at 8:30 AM, and every minute of learning matters. When students are present, on time, and engaged, they are better prepared to master content, stay confident, and achieve their goals. We encourage all students to make attendance a priority as we close out the semester. Staying focused on academics is equally important. Every assignment, project, and assessment plays a key role in ensuring students remain on track for promotion and graduation. We encourage students to stay proactive, ask questions, and take advantage of the support and resources available on campus. With the testing season approaching, it is essential that students come prepared and ready to succeed on their assessments, including STAAR, SAT, ACT, ASVAB, and other exams. These opportunities allow students to demonstrate their learning and take important steps toward their future. Families can support by ensuring students get plenty of rest, arrive on time, and come ready to give their best effort each day. Together, we will continue to push forward with positivity, determination, and Tiger pride. Let’s maintain our momentum, support one another, and finish the year with excellence.
