Congratulations to LISD Student of the Month for April Madeleine Landa. Landa is a 10th grade student at Cigarroa High School and the Sabas Perez Early College Academy (SPECA). She is part of the SPECA Program and is currently ranked 10th in her class.
She likes coming to school to learn more about government and history as well as her Early College classes. Madeleine’s favorite part of the school day is her sixth period class where she is able to practice her acting with her One Act Play (OA) Director.
She is an active member of HOSA, Student Council, and One Act Play (OAP).
Madeleine plans on attending Texas A&M University at College Station and wants to earn a master’s degree in Bio-Chemistry. She hopes to become a Clinical Molecular Engineer.
She attended Milton Elementary School and Lamar Middle School. Madeleine is the daughter Nancy Landa.
