LISD Kazen Fellowship students participated in activities with the Laredo Sector Border Patrol. The students had an opportunity to hear presentations, see exhibits and take tours with Border Patrol Marine, HPU, SUAS, ATVs and Bike Patrol Units.

Congratulation to LISD Student of the Month for May from Cigarroa High School Mareily Coto Rivera.
Mareily Coto Rivera is a ninth-grade student at Cigarroa High School. She is part of the school’s P-TECH Program.
Mareily likes coming to school because she like learning new things from each of her classes. Her favorite part of the school day is her fifth block where she gets to attend her P-Tech classes.
She is an active member of the Mariachi Azteca and Orchestra.
Mareily plans on attending TAMIU or University of Texas at Austin. Coto Rivera hopes to purse a master’s degree in the construction or medical field. She hopes to work in the Construction Management or Medical field.
When she is not busy with her schoolwork, Mareily enjoys skating and learning French.
She attended D.D. Hachar Elementary School and Cigarroa Middle School. Mareily is the daughter of Evelyn Rivera and Hugo Coto.
CHS Health Science students attended their Pinning Ceremony at the South Texas Training Center. These students obtained four Industry Based Certifications which included: Nurse Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Electrocardiogram Technician and Patient Care Technician. Students in Ms. Cuevas's English classroom engaged in a fun Literary Project Based Learning activity by researching the life and work of Langston Hughes. Students practiced their presentation skills and were evaluated with a presentation rubric. 💻📚👏🤩

Once you return your devices, you will be given a clearance ticket that you must turn in to Ms. Anna Nanez to get your graduation tickets.
If you lost your charger, you will need to pay $35.00 cash to our campus bookkeeper, Ms. Blanca Meraz.
If you lost your laptop, go to the technology office to get an invoice, and make a police report with a campus police officer.
