CHS Orchestra had 8 students perform a solo at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest and all of them came back with a medal! CHS earned 2 gold medals and 6 silver medals.

Cigarroa High School senior football players Ya-aqob Lozano and David Garza have committed to play football at the University of Dubuque. They signed their National Letter of Intent to continue their academic and football career at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque Iowa. Ya-aqob Lozano has chosen to major in sports management while David Garza has chosen kinesiology.

Cigarroa Automotive and Diesel students visited Universal Technical Institute and MIAT College of Technology in Houston, TX. Students learned about the programs available for them when attending these trade schools and future job opportunities.
