Mr. Torres (Auto), Mr. Morales(Diesel) , Mr. Ramirez(HVAC) and Mr. Ibarra (Construction) attended a teacher seminar at the Universal Technical Institute and MIAT in Houston, Tx. They learned about the new advanced technology being applied in todays modern career paths and how the STEM program is being incorporated.

Students from Martin, Nixon, and Cigarroa High School participate in the District 30-5A Swim Meet.
Today we held our first victory rally to celebrate the accomplishments of our Cheerleading squad (National Champions), our DECA students Elizabeth Gonzalez and Valeria Garcia (State Qualifiers), our Mariachi Azteca (qualifying for State garnering all 1’s), and our Boys and Girls Swimming Team that advanced to Regionals. We are extremely proud of all of our students who make the Pride of South Laredo shine.
Very proud of how advanced is the construction of our new Cigarroa High School building. We can’t wait to move in! Go Toros!
The Dr. Leo G. Cigarroa HS Cheerleaders were named NCA National Champions in the Intermediate Non-Tumbling Large Varsity Crowd Performance Division. They hit two, zero deduction, routines and ended with a score of 97.4. They were also awarded a "Best use of Stunts" specialty award. They are the only High School Team in the City of Laredo to bring back a NCA Title this year. Team Co-Captains are Elizabeth Rodriguez and Kayla Sandoval. The 22-23 Captain is Arely Barboza. They are under the direction of Head Coach/Sponsor Ms. Nataly Ramirez and assistant coaches, Litzy Gutierrez and Victor Gutierrez. 🎉💙🎉
