We'd like to thank Cigarroa HS alumni, Kelsy Briones and Francisco Lopez for visiting our Deaf Ed students. They discussed their post-secondary experiences at Laredo College and TAMIU. Kelsy is home for winter break from Gallaudet University in Washington DC where she is working on finishing her Bachelor's Degree in education. She presented videos on how her daily life is on and off campus, student life experience and travels. Kelsy, welcome home!!!

Our virtual Parent Technology Training and Meeting was a success! Over 40 participants from the TORO Team and LISD family schools attended the technology training where families learned how to access the Skyward Parent Portal and how to navigate through the Cigarroa High School website to access campus event information and instructional resources. Additionally, participants gained awareness about healthy lifestyles through a “Texas Health Steps” presentation. Cigarroa High School is LEADING the Way through Instructional Technology and Family Engagement! ⚙💻💙
